About Podtopia.net

Podtopia.net provides low-cost, easy-to-use personal podcast hosting services to folks who just want to get their podcasts out there... without having to master the details of new technology. First started in 2005, Podtopia.net's original mission was to provide technology solutions for folks interested in getting started podcasting.

In the past two years, podcasting as a young industry has really taken off, with thousands of new podcasts being created each month, and thousands more listeners subscribing, downloading, and streaming all this new audio, all the time, the adoption rate has just skyrocketed.

There's no lack, nowadays, of podcasting services -- great services like Feedburner have taken off, and they're booming.

There's no lack of software, either. Whether it's a great audio editor like Audacity you need, or additional web programs like FeedForAll RSS resources, people looking for ways to podcast have plenty of optoins.

What is lacking, however, are training resources for podcasters and other folks who want to learn about podcasting. This is where Podtopia.net comes in. On this site, you'll find a collection of podcast tips and tricks and resources that help you make sense of podcasting, as well as a few programs of our own, like the Podtopia.net Quickfeed Podcast Feed Creator that lets you create valid RSS for your podcast feeds in a matter of minutes, and the Podtopia.net Podcast Catcher which turns your browser into a podcatcher.

In the coming weeks and months, we'll be adding more resources as we go, so stop back soon and see what's new!
