Whether you're creating a podcast, editing a sound file, or "mashing up" a variety of audio, Audacity has the power and the features to let you do it quickly and easily.
In this live conference call training session, audio engineer and digital producer Kay Stoner brings her expertise will help you learn to create and edit your own online in this personal training. You'll learn on your own computer, in your own home. Kay will walk you through the steps to:
- setup Audacity with the LAME encoder
- record and edit your audio
- apply special effects, like fading and adusting speed and volume
- make sure your audio sounds the best it can
- export your audio to MP3 format so you can podcast it or distribute it online

About the Trainer: Kay Stoner is a seasoned Audacity user, and she uses it each week to produce a nationally syndicated public radio show, Women In Music with Laney Goodman each week (on the air since 1996). She's also an experienced trainer and has taught novices to use new technologies at internationally known technology and financial services firms. She provides teleclass and teleseminar training through her website, as well as Conference Call University.
